“More than anything else New York is a city of superlatives, a place where the best, the brightest, the biggest is the norm.”

– Marilyn J. Appleberg

I love to see my work large, especially when someone chooses a print I have never seen huge for the first time; that still happens fairly frequently. And when framed in acrylic these prints pop and can center a room and perfect for offices. This page covers large New York photo prints (archival paper, framed or unframed) and acrylic face-mount prints for a modern, frameless look. All pieces are archival pigment (giclée) on museum-quality papers, hand-signed and shipped with a Certificate of Authenticity. Custom sizes (including panoramic formats) and framed New York City prints are available; color and black and white New York prints are produced to the same standard.

Archival Photographic Prints

After studying photography and printing at the International Center for Photography in the early ’00s, I’ve been obsessively photographing New York City ever since. And as a part-time historian and NYC guide, I can’t imagine there are many who have walked the city more in that timeframe.

My archive consists of both the unique, daily life in the city, as well as the classic and popular views, including the skyscrapers, skyline, Central Park, and architectural marvels, in all seasons. I work with major firms, art buyers, interior designers, and architects. I love the art of printing, getting to create, experience, and then share a little treasure.

All prints are made with museum-quality archival photography paper, are signed, and come with a certificate of authenticity. Prints are offered in a variety of sizes, I can handle or advise on framing, and I offer installation planning and services. Installing the finished products on walls is one of the most satisfying parts of the job.

In my spare time, I am also a documentary and street photographer, and I have captured a large variety of happenings around the city. I can also send customized selections of work for review based on your interests and needs.

Large-Scale Paper Prints — Sizes, Paper & Framing

Large paper prints are subtle and flexible—ideal when you want texture and the option of a classic frame.

  • Common sizes (landscape): 24×30″, 30×45″, 40×60″; panoramic options like 36×72″ (2:1) when the image allows.

  • Paper: museum-quality fiber/matte/luster fine-art papers; archival pigment (giclée) for longevity and deep tone.

  • Framing: acrylic, white/black hardwoods, or natural woods; mat or edge-to-print; museum/UV glazing available.

  • When to choose: living rooms, bedrooms, hallways, offices where you want a timeless presentation.

  • These are the backbone of my large New York City prints—available as color New York City prints or black and white New York prints and easy to group as diptychs/triptychs.

Acrylic Face-Mount Prints — Look, Build & Where They Shine

Acrylic gives a frameless, contemporary surface with remarkable depth.

  • Look: glossy, high-clarity face—deep blacks, crisp detail, luminous highlights.

  • Build: print on premium photo paper, optically face-mounted, backed with DiBond (aluminum composite) and a float frame/French cleat—ready to hang.

  • Edges: polished; borderless presentation.

  • When to choose: modern spaces, lobbies, hospitality, corridors where durability and a clean edge matter.
These are my acrylic photo prints / acrylic face-mount prints—great for single statement pieces or panoramic spans.

Sizing, Proofing & Mockups — How Ordering Works

I’ll help you dial in size, crop, and finish so the piece reads from across the room.

  1. Pick images (send me the filenames) and tell me your wall size and viewing distance.

  2. Sizing guidance: I’ll recommend print dimensions (and panoramic New York City print options where appropriate), plus framing or acrylic notes.

  3. Confirm & produce: once approved, the print is made, hand-signed, and ships with a Certificate of Authenticity.
