“One World Trade Center is a statement of hope and defiance written in steel and glass, a marvel of persistence, a miracle of logistics. It is the tangible expression of a people forced quite literally to dig deep for new footings after an unspeakable blow, and there were many dark moments when it was hard to believe that anyone would stand here again.”
– Time Magazine, 2021
In the wake of a tragic event a new skyline emerged, with fortitude. These are One World Trade Center photo prints: Freedom Tower against the harbor, and the Downtown Manhattan skyline held together by water and light. Many exist as NYC skyline prints in color or as black and white New York prints.
Archival Photographic Prints
After studying photography and printing at the International Center for Photography in the early ’00s, I’ve been obsessively photographing New York City ever since. And as a part-time historian and NYC guide, I can’t imagine there are many who have walked the city more in that timeframe.
My archive consists of both the unique, daily life in the city, as well as the classic and popular views, including the skyscrapers, skyline, Central Park, and architectural marvels, in all seasons. I work with major firms, art buyers, interior designers, and architects. I love the art of printing, getting to create, experience, and then share a little treasure.
All prints are made with museum-quality archival photography paper, are signed, and come with a certificate of authenticity. Prints are offered in a variety of sizes, I can handle or advise on framing, and I offer installation planning and services. Installing the finished products on walls is one of the most satisfying parts of the job.
In my spare time, I am also a documentary and street photographer, and I have captured a large variety of happenings around the city. I can also send customized selections of work for review based on your interests and needs.
Downtown Skyline & The Tower
Lower Manhattan is scale over water. From the riverfront and Battery Park City the building carries the sky; from the esplanade the harbor reads as a field of tone. This group includes Manhattan skyline photo print and downtown Manhattan skyline views where One WTC anchors the frame. A few widen into panoramic New York City prints when the skyline needs room.
Creative Views
The One World Trade Center building looms over downtown Manhattan, allowing for many creative and unique views. While I always look for the classic photos for those than need, the creative is what always draws me in the most.
From Deep Brooklyn
In Sunset Park, along the industrial waterfront is Bush Terminal Park. There if you sneak into the trees you can sit along the water with others and enjoy the view.
From Greenwood Cemetery
These are my favorite views, in element weather, from unique locations like Greenwood Cemetery. Both in blue hour color, but when color distracts, in monochrome. Black and white New York prints focus on lines and angles—glass, sky, harbor—and on weather that clarifies the lines: storm light, winter haze, clean winter sun. They hang quietly on deep walls or white ones and pair easily with a color skyline across the room.
