Gagosian is pleased to announce an exhibition of new work by Jordan Wolfson at 555 West 24th Street in New York. This is the artist’s first exhibition with the gallery in New York.
A selection of new uniformly scaled sculptures incorporates emblematic color and black-and-white photographs, sourced online and from personal and academic archives, that resonate with art history, popular culture, and Wolfson’s own preoccupations.
In this video, Gagosian presents a conversation between Jordan Wolfson and Johanna Burton, Maurice Marciano Director of the Museum of Contemporary Art, Los Angeles. The pair discuss Wolfson’s animatronic work of art Body Sculpture (2023).
