Schedule:

*A full schedule and workshop details will be emailed to participants closer to the workshop date.

Day 1:  3pm introductory class  |  7pm group Chinatown dinner 

Day 2:  10am-5:30pm all day street photography with breaks for rest and lunch.

Day 3:  11:30am-3:30pm editing class and session  |  3:30pm-6pm break for rest / dinner  |  6-9:30pm night cityscape shoot (tripod encouraged).

Day 4:  11:30am-6:30pm all day outer borough street photography shoot with breaks for rest and lunch.

Day 5:  10am-2pm street photography shoot  |  2pm-6pm break for rest / dinner | 6:30-9:30pm night street photography (no tripods).

Day 6: 9am-12:30pm final editing and presentation day.

Post-workshop: The class will be invited to a private Facebook workshop page where everyone can get to know each other and show their work prior to the workshop. You will have lifetime access to this page, and it will be used for subsequent workshops and will be a place where you can ask questions and receive critiques in the future.

Notes:

Confirmation: Confirmation and payment info will be sent soon after registration. A registration is not confirmed until payment is complete.

Where: Unless noted otherwise, the seminar space is located at the Houston Street Center, University Settlement, 273 Bowery, New York, NY 10002. It is recommended to stay near the seminar space in SoHo, Nolita, Little Italy, East Village, Lower East Side, or Chinatown.

Equipment: As the workshop will include a lot of walking, comfortable shoes and traveling light is recommend whenever possible. Extra batteries are highly recommended. Weeklong seminars include two editing sessions. If you would like to take part in these, you will need a laptop or tablet to edit on along with a card reader. There will be one night photography session where a tripod is recommended.

Cost: $950 early bird ($1,050 regular). $500 deposit required to confirm the spot.
