About the Gallery
It’s nice to meet you. My name is James Maher and the galleries here represent over 20 years of photographing the city.

I grew up in Manhattan and have always focused on capturing interesting and beautiful moments, both for aesthetic and documentary purposes.
I work with consultants, collectors, businesses, and interior designers. I can provide you with a customized gallery to help choose your favorites or to send to clients.

Archival Prints
We use museum-quality photography paper, which comes signed and with a certificate of authenticity.
We offer a variety of sizes, can help you with framing, and do installation work in New York. Details about prints and pricing are here.
While you can learn more about me on the bio page, my prints have been shown in all types of venues and businesses. In addition, I authored The New York Photographer’s Travel Guide, and I have been a history guide since the 2000s, which comes from my passion for city history.
And I love to walk and explore the city!
