Fabulous, James. Makes me want to get on the Amtrak and head to the Big City! We’re looking forward to your presentation at the Schenectady Photographic Society soon.
Thanks Linda, me too!
Absolutely love these photos. They tell a true story of the people of New York. Love all of your work.
#3. Lol. Nice touch, Jimmy. 🙂
#4 actually (Bruce G)
Ha thanks, he whooshed by me one day in Times Square!
Amazing slice of NY life James. Even a self portrait!
Impressive! You are so talented
Thank you Elena!
Wonderful collection, James! Loved the entire set and a few in particular: the B&W of the four guys looking out the store window, the clever self-portrait near the end (a typical New Yorker taking photos), the man conducting either singers or an orchestra, the pink-eared dog having his portrait done, the performer in the subway train…I could go on. Like Linda, makes me want to get on a train and photograph in the big city again. Thanks so much for posting these!
Thank you Steve – enjoy hearing your favorites!
Never been to the U/S but these pics make want to jump on a jet a see The Real People.
Come on over!
Unfortunately, you missed one of the biggest stereotypes of the city… 🙂 https://www.instagram.com/midtownuniform/
Joking aside, though – love how each of the photos gets you thinking about the story behind the subject. Amazing work!
Ha I will keep an eye out!
Hi James Maher,1 Only in New York. Ain’t it grand! And ain’t it grand to be able to take such great photos that capture and convey the Soul(s) of NYC. Thanks for your concern and commitment to The City and your eagerness to share it with us. It is appreciated by many. Cliff Haymes
Thanks so much Cliff!
I loved scrolling through all the photos. Can’t wait to get back home to see everyone in person.
Thank you for once again taking me on a photographic trip to NY. I was fascinated by your photos because they made me wonder about the lives of each individual.
Thanks Sharlotte – happy to hear you enjoyed them!
Hi again James, Like Leo above I just loved to go through your fabulous photos. My smile is still all over my face! Cheers Niels
Thanks Niels! Hope you’ve been well!
I hope all is well with you and your family. These images, and those in your last post about the “Crossroads of Luxury” are awesome! Quintessential NYC; you should author a book with your City street work. I’ll be first in line to purchase it! All the Best, Hank
Thanks so much Hank – working on something as we speak! Although we’ll see what form it’ll take, experimenting!
Great photos! Feel like I’m there again.
Thanks Carlo! Hope you’re well.
Fantastic! Thanks for sharing these.
Glad you enjoyed Craig!
